Confessions of an OPI Princess

Four of my new OPI polishes arrived yesterday - hooray!

• Go On Green
• Hearts & Tarts
• I Only Drink Champagne
• Sushi Sells Sushi by Seashore

I absolutely love Hearts & Tarts for a french polish and I am currently sporting it both on fingers and toes. My dear Mum has fallen head over heals for I Only Drink Champagne, and she's decked out top and bottom as well!
I promise to have swatches up ASAP - I'll have to take some time out this weekend and snap some shots.
I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the rest of my polishes!

In other news, not related to nail polish (GASP) - I have decided to get a tattoo. (ANOTHER GASP)
Now, that may not sound so shocking , but if you know me then you'd be well shocked. I've never been one for tattoos - "I'm way too girly for that!" - but I have changed my mind (a little). I have picked out a tiny blue butterfly which is only about 1cm (I'm so macho) and have decided it would look so cute on the inside of my wrist. I'll be taking the butterfly photo to the tattoo parlor with me, so that the big burly tattooist can see exactly what I'd like, and I'll be sure to mention a few dozen times that it must be sweet, pretty and girly, and not make me look butch at all.

I bet I cry.

I love doing nails.
I find it much more relaxing to give a manicure or pedicure then receive one. Don't get me wrong - I love a good mani/pedi and have almost fallen asleep from being so relaxed (and what girl doesn't like being pampered??), but I feel so much more fulfilled pampering someone else.

Anyway, onto the real reason for this post - my spending spree continues (soon).
I was browsing over my list of OPI shades that I "need", and decided my next two purchases will be the entire Indian and Australian collections. There are quite a few colours that I personally would never wear, but I know other people who would so it's better that I have a wide variety available for different tastes (if it were based on my taste alone, I'd have everyone wearing pink ;) ).

On that note - how hard is it to find a website dedicated to OPI swatches?? I surfed Google over and over again (I even ended up hiring diving gear), but was still only able to find one or two sites with a couple of swatches. People need swatches - it makes purchasing so much easier! So I promise to post up as many swatches as I possibly can for the colours I own (both indoor and outside, with and without flash).

After struggling the day away at my Beauty course (thank you to whoever I caught this dreaded flu off), I was so happy to be home and so happy to see I had a lovely amount of money sitting in my Paypal account, just waiting to be spent! So what did I do? What every respectable OPI addict does - I logged onto Ebay ;)
